About Annabel Ruffell

AnnankEnglandHello and Welcome to my website Journey for Earth!

My name is Annabel Ruffell and I am a single parent to a beautiful little boy called Noakai. As I always tell him…he is my heart...to which he responds...you are my heart too Mummy…

I am the founder of Journey for Earth, a global awareness company committed to inspiring change for humanity, the environment and animals, one choice at a time. I am also an artist and blogger.

Journey for Earth came about through a long standing passion for animals and the environment and a deep desire to highlight causes related to them. People to me always seemed to be the bad guys destroying the earth and causing harm, but I realized of course that there are many people working hard to protect our environment, our animals, and our people…our children. Everything is connected and it is all important. It is our journey together that will determine which course our planet and all it’s inhabitants take.

“Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.”

– Chief Seattle

I interview and share blog posts from the founders of environmental, animal and humanity organizations, parents and inspiring public figures too.

These are people committed to a goal, a purpose, a desire to take action and make a positive impact on our planet. They share valuable and inspiring information on important topics, that ignite thought and action.

Our individual journeys can inspire each other. What kind of journey are you on?

Some of the inspiring people I have interviewed are:

Gene Baur – animal activist, best-selling author and founder of farm sanctuary; Jim and Jamie Dutcher who lived with wolves for 6 years and won 3 Emmys for their docs about them, Lisa Wilson a health expert who has witnessed people reverse cancer and diabetes by changing their diet, Tommy Rosen yoga teacher for addiction recovery…who believes that people truly can heal completely…and many more.

I have also started to give talks in schools on food and health and how our choices impact the world around us. I call these talks HEART Action Talks. Learn more here.

I feel that there is much to be gained by asking the question:

What can I do to make a difference, to be better, stronger, more focused, committed to myself, my community, my world?

For me looking at the many examples of people who are making a difference is uplifting to me….it could be the wonderfully friendly cashier at my local store, or someone fighting to save the rainforests… It all comes from an open heart and a passion for life, for oneself, for the world we live in.

It is my hope that you find interviews, articles, posts here that inspire you, that touch your heart, that make you think and discover and learn something new.

I believe we can heal ourselves and our planet, and one person can make a difference! There are so many challenges our planet faces, and that we face daily in our own lives, yet we can gain so much inspiration through others passionately living their life journey.

  1. Thank you Annabel… For sharing my story and for all you do to make a difference in the world.

  2. What a beautiful way to start the day…finding your blog…the loving photo of you and Noakai…the inspirational words of Chief Seattle and Edward Everett Hale.. You certainly are making a difference. In 2010 I did my own blog…and after 119 blogs on nutrition, health, environmental issues started doing further research on nutrition and more. It took 33 years of nutrition research before I wrote Sharing from the Heart. Now, it has been over half a century…and at 81 I’m seeing the results of eating the foods our Creator intended for us to eat. Feeling better than I ever felt as a teenager or young adult. This journey took 54 years, because of all the misinformation that exists. Had to go direct to find the truth.

    • Hello Barbara,
I just saw your post sorry!
Thank you so much for your message. I love the journey that you are on! Yes there is lots of wonderful information out there…and when you find the truth there is no going back! 🙂
